The commercial diving school offers several courses designed to build a solid theoretical foundation in commercial diving. The curriculum includes essential topics such as diving physics, physiology, decompression, diving systems and procedures, equipment maintenance, and diver communication systems. Advanced topics like underwater inspections, searches, underwater welding, cutting and welding equipment, and underwater construction techniques, along with hyperbaric instruction, complete the training. Upon successful completion of the program, ACD grants various ADCI diving certifications to new Tender/Divers, including ADCI Diver/Tender Certification, Crosby Rigger 1 Certification, OSHA 10 Certification, Non-Destructive Test Level 1, and PADI EFR for CPR/First Aid with AED and O2 Provider Training.
